In “Dust Falling Down”,A-lais first novel,“dust” is metaphorical.The leading character of the novel is a fool.This is a successful artistic image which the author made elaborately.The fools fate is the main line of the plot.In displaying the fools sufferings,the work shows the historical process of Tibetan Tusi feudal system,its rise and fall.The author placed on the image of “the fool” his distinctive thought of society,history and life.
