Status and roles of intellectuals in Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Base during Yanan Period

知识分子在中国革命和建设中都起着十分重要的作用。延安时期知识分子成为开辟敌后抗日根据地的先锋、教育培养干部的中坚、新文化的开创者、科学技术的奠基者 。

Intellectuals always play an important role in the Chinese revolution and construction. During Yanan Period, intellectuals became the pioneers of opening up anti Japanese bases, the backbones of training cadres, the pioneers of the new culture,and the founders of science and technology. The success that the border region attracted and employed intellects provides us with some usefal experience.
