A Re-consideration on Developing Shaanxi from a Newspaper Giant to a Newspaper Lord ——A Study of the Problem in Development of Shaanxi's Newspaper Industry and Its Policy

陕西从报刊大省走向报刊强省 ,还存在从业者道德水准需提高、办公现代化程度较低、报刊结构需调整、经济效益不佳等突出问题。面向新世纪 ,陕西报刊要不断提高整体水平 ,应进一步强化报刊个性特色 ,增强办报办刊的精品意识 ;强化报刊经营管理 ,提高报刊经济效益 ;加强媒介交流合作 ,实现媒介优势互补 ;设立培训部门 。

Such problems still perplex Shaanxi's newspaper industry as a low moral quality of newspaper workers, a low degree of office computerization, an improper structure of newspapers and periodicals and a low economic efficiency before it rises from a newspaper giant to a newspaper lord. Therefore, some effective measures are to be taken to better the situation, such as certain training institutions to be established to re_train the newspaper workers, individuality of newspapers and journals to be strengthened, fine_work consciousness to be intensified, newspaper reform to be deepened, economic efficiency to be raised and medium exchange to be strengthened to realize mutual benefit by each other's advantages.
