Two Incompletenesses of the Concept of Sustainable Development

从可持续发展的整体性和主体性的理论视角出发，透视了可持续发展观存在的整体性和主体性残缺。可持续发展观的整体性残缺主要体现在：在时间维度上重视现实和未来而对过去反思不够；在空间维度上重视环境问题忽视社会问题、重视各国“自扫门前雪”，忽视国际合作。可持续发展观的主体性残缺主要体现在：人在可持续发展中处于“边缘化”的状态，人的发展在经济发展的压力下被扭曲；人在社会发展的自然必然性支配下，严重缺乏自主性、自觉性应有的创新精神。

From the aspects of Entirety and Subjectivity,this article enumerates the incompetenesses of the concept of Sustainable Development,which include the incompletenesses of Entirety and Subjectivity. The incompletenesses of Entirety are: 1 )we put more emphasis on Now and Future than on the Past,and there is a long way for us to go in considering the Past; 2)we consider the environment more than the soci- ety ; 3)we emphasize the internal affairs while we ignore (somehow) the international co-operation. The in- completenesses of Subjectivity are: 1 )the development of human being is not in the core of the social devel- opment; 2)the humanity is twisted under the pressure of economic development ; 3)the development of hu- man being is dominated by the necessity of the social development, and human being itself is in want of the spirit of self-determination, consciousness and creativeness.
