Porous Al 2O 3 ceramics was fabricated by adding graphite powders into the well-dispersed Al 2O 3 slurry, gelcasting after ball mixing for several minutes, and sintering at 1520℃ for 2h. The pores in Al 2O 3 ceramics are distributed uniformly and are of 15～30μm in diameter.
