Three methods including phosgenation, transesterification and oxidative carbonylation for synthesizing DPC were introduced. The latter two methods were described in detail. The catalysts, reactor and separating meth-ods for the azeotropic mixture in transesterification were emphasized. The catalyst systems in oxidative carbonylation were fully discussed.
