There is the briefing of design criteria,the theroy of strength and analysis methods of the two standardsGB150 and JB4732.The main differences between the two standards are analysed about the scope of the application(design pressure,design temperature and so on),material toughness,material selection and material requirement of inspection,equi-area method of reinforcement during the material opening and opening reinforcement,manufacture,test and inspection.An example for explaining the difference was given so that designers may select proper standard according to specific conditions.
