Revised Design of the Valve Rotator for Model ZAV40S Diesel Gensets

旋阀机构是保证中速柴油机进、排气阀正常工作的重要装置。本文介绍的改进型旋阀机构不仅保证气阀在开启过程中能不断转动,而且使气阀在落座过程中亦能保持这种转动,从而进一步改善气阀的工作条件,延长气阀的使用寿命。

Valve rotator is an important device to ensure the normal operation of the inlet and exhaust valves of a medium speed diesel engine. The revised design of a valve rotator introduced in this paper could further improve the valve working conditions and extend its lifetime, due mainly not only to the rotation of the valve during its opening, but also to such a rotation maintained during its seating.
