DENG Xiao-ping's Thoughts on patriotism and collectivism

邓小平同志在继承和弘扬中华民族传统道德的同时 ,以反对霸权主义维护世界和平、“一国两制 ,和平统一”、坚持社会主义方向、自尊自强开拓创新的精神赋予了爱国主义鲜明的时代特征 ;从道德追求、价值导向、价值目标等方面丰富和发展了集体主义的内涵 ,为国家的统一。

On the bases of carrying forward and enlarging the Chinese traditonal ethics,DENG Xiao ping gives patriotism a distinctive characteristic of times by opposing hegemonism and safeguarding world peace,keeping to the principles of 'one country,two systems and peaceful reunification',adhering to socialism,upholding the sense of ethnic dignity and the spirit of creating and self making.Meanwhile,DENG Xiao ping enriches collectivism in the aspects of ethical pursuit,value orientation and value objective.All these provide the Chinese People with definite direction to pursue national reunification and prosperity.
