A method which can serve all the varied geological conditions in diamond's reconnaissance survey has not yet been found. The only way feasible is to choose several methods and employ them in sequence according to the field reality.The authors recommend summarizing the present day experience in diamond exploration a unified program established on the following method.Using field observation as basis, adopting heavy sand method as main means, supplemented by geophysical and geochemical surveying and large size sample ore dressing to search for diamond directly.
