“兴”不仅是人们所熟悉的中国传统诗歌理论术语 ,也是一种积极的言语表达行为。“兴”与歌的关系极为密切 ,它的主要作用是凑足音节、协调韵律 ,因而可以说“兴”是诗歌的语言前奏。

People are familiar with 'Xing' which is traditionally regarded as terms of Chinese poetic theory. This article parses the characteristics and typology of 'Xing' from the rhetorical category. It is considered as one type of active language expressive act of representation, which is attributed to rhetorical category. 'Xing' is tightly connected with the poetry, whose main function is to complement syllables, to harmonize rhythms. So we can say that 'Xing' is the linguistic prelude of the poetry.
