《文选》五臣音声类考

An Examination of the Phoneme Groups in Selected Works by Five Officials

本文采用系联法 ,辅之以比较归纳法 ,整理考订出《文选》五臣音的声类为 4 0个。其声类系统的特点如下 :唇音的轻重唇已基本分化完毕 ;舌音的舌头、舌上亦分化完毕 ;从邪分明 ,但船禅已混 ,据此推测 ,五臣音反映的当是八世纪初通行的读书音。

With an interrelated approach supported comparative inductive method, the present paper works out 40 categories of phoneme used in Selected Works by five officials. The general features of these phoneme groups are as follows: the stressed and unstressed labial sounds have been distinguished from one another; the dental and the blade palatal sounds have also been clarified. The sound of 'Cong' is clearly different from that of 'Ya'. However, the sound of 'Chuan' has been mixed up with that of 'Shan'. Based on this phenomenon, the sound system defined by the five officials refers to the sounds derived from reading aloud popular at the beginning of the eighth century.
