The main style of the Ci of Xin QiJi is vigorous and forceful, bold and generous. It's the potential psychological state--identification of a northerner which brings about his lofty aspirations unrealized that leads to his style. The essay attempts to probe into the social identification of the Northerners in the social surrounding of NanSong Dynasty from the poems and articles of Xin QiJi. And the essay will further analyse Xin QiJi's hidden Anxiety of Identification from his Ci.
