毛泽东对党的知识分子理论与政策的形成起了开拓作用 ,邓小平对党的知识分子理论和政策进行了创新性探索 ,在此基础上 ,江泽民对党的知识分子理论和政策作了进一步发展。今后我党在制定知识分子理论与政策时还要注意几个重要问题。

In the formation of the Party's theories on and policies towards intellectuals, Mao Tse-tung played a tremendous starting role; Deng Xiaoping conducted innovative studies on those theories and policies, while Jiang Zemin has made further developments on them. Several important points deserve attention when the Party formulates future theories and policies toward intellectuals.
