Investigating Feng Zizhen’s Life

元代重要作家冯子振 ,其生平资料十分零散 ,故其生平行迹鲜为人知 ,并时见误说。本文对冯子振的字号、籍贯和行迹进行考证 ,纠谬补阙 。

Feng Zizhen, an important writer in the Yuan Dynasty, is rarely known to the public and even mispresented from time to time because available accounts of his life are widely scattered. This paper presents the findings of the textual research on Feng Zizhen’s literal name, native place and trace to correct the mistakes of and supply missing links in the documentation of Feng Zizhen’s life, which is probably valuable to the research on the Chinese literature of the Yuan Dynasty.
