TOWARDS THE SYSTEMATIC STRUCTURE OF THE VALUES OF THE CHINESE CULTURE

中国文化传统的价值理念 ,其内容极为宏富。然而 ,中国之文化传统 ,并非有一个严谨的整体性思想系统 ,实是由许多“次传统”所构成。各个次传统“异”中有“同” ,不可把它看做一严谨的思想体系 ,亦非一严密的逻辑系统 ,它有涵盖性而少排他性 ,重“合”而不重“分”。

In the Chinese cultural tradition the concept of values contains substantial content. However, there is not a complete well knit system in the Chinese cultural tradition , which, in fact, consists of many 'sub traditions'. As far as the' similarities' within the 'differences' in these traditions are concerned, we can not consider the tradition a well knit ideological system, nor a well organized philosophical system. It is more inclusive and less exclusive; it values combination rather than division.
