Morphological and cytological observation on autotriploid rice SAR- 3

同源三倍体水稻SAR 3与原二倍体植株形态差异明显 ,其植株较高 ,颖花具长芒 ,高度不育。SAR 3在减数分裂终变期平均联会型为 7 78Ⅲ +5 0 0Ⅱ +2 67Ⅰ ,中期Ⅰ构型为 6 92Ⅲ +5 40Ⅱ +4 44Ⅰ ,存在不联会和联会消失以及后期Ⅰ、后期Ⅱ染色体丢失现象。

The autotripliod rice SAR 3( Oryza sativa L.),occurring in the natural population of polyembryonic strain 9003,was crossed with diploid varieties and its hybrid F 2 was non segregation.The morphological and cytological characters of SAR 3 were reported.The plant of autotriploid SAR 3 was easily discriminated from the diploid by morphological characters,which was higher,sterile and awned.But the autotetraploid was often mistaken for it,and the chromosome number should be checked carefully.In autotriploids,the pairing pattern of 36 chromosomes in each microsporocyte was 7 78Ⅲ+5 00Ⅱ+2 67Ⅰ at diakinesis and 6 92Ⅲ+5 40Ⅱ+4 44Ⅰ at metaphase Ⅰ. The asynapsis and desynapsis were usually observed and lag chromosomes at anaphase were common in meiosis.The chromosome behaviors of autotriploid derived from different sources were probably different in meiosis and non homologous pairing might be common.
