Comrade Jiang Zemin's speech at the meeting of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the CPC is a great new idea of Marxist theories.The viewpoint of 'Marxism having theoretical character of improving with each passing day'advanced in 《Speech》has pointed out the direction for the whole Party to understand and master Marxism scientifically.The exposition of correctly strengthening the class and the mass bases of the party and continuously heightening the Party's influence on society has developed and brought forth new ideas in Marxist theory of the Party building.The scientific answer to the outlook on property under the circumstances of socialist market oriented economy is the new development and contribution to Marxist theory on the social labour and labour value of socialism.The exposition of correctly understanding and handling the relations of correctly understanding and handling the relations between the minimum and maximum programmes of the Party has great practical and historical significance in seeking unity of thinking of the whole Party and the people of our country,in firmly pursuing the Party's basic line and putting the third strategic goal into reality.
