The Evolution of Community Education

社区教育的嬗变和拓展经历了三个阶段 ,即从具有原生性特征、虽无其名但有其实的古代社区教育 ,到 2 0世纪初社区教育成为一明确的概念 ,再到 2 0世纪 70年代社区教育成为构建终身教育体系 ,迈向学习化社会的重要途径和手段 ,从中可以看出社区教育对社区发展、对人的发展所具有的功能。

The evolution of Community Education has experienced three phases: the Ancient Community Education with original features, the modern Community Education in the early 20th century, which has acquired a clear concept; and the Community Education in the 1970s of the 20th century which has become an important approach to set up life long Education System and to teach a Learning Society. This paper is intended to explore the functions of Community Education to the development of the community and its people.
