范蠡和亚里士多德是古代中国和古希腊的两大政治家。二者均有务实精神，都主张让人民富裕。范蠡主张君主专制政体，亚里士多德主张民主政体，但亦主张权力集中，反对滥用民主。他们政治思想的相似与差别，表现了中西文化的差异。

Fan Li and Aristotle are respectively politicians in ancient Chinaand Greece. Both of them have pragmatic inclination and advocate the prosperityof the people. But Fan Li maintains the political system of autocratic monarchy,while Aristotle that of democracy though holding the concentration of power andopposing the misuse of democracy.
