明清两代,我国通俗小说有了长足发展,却也遭受了四次大规模禁毁。这些被禁毁的通俗小说主要分为三类:明清统治者认为动摇其统治的;认为有伤风化的;认为触犯了他们的种族尊严的。对此事件,应做具体分析,并汲取历史教训。

t In Ming and Qing dynasties popular novels made considerable progress but they were also prohibited and destroyed four times. The popular novels prohibited and destroyed can be classified into three categories 1. those regarded by Ming and Qing rulers will shake their rule 2. those believed to corrupt public morals 3. those considered to offend their dignity. To this event concrete analysis should be made and lessons be derived.
