the paper describes the property of glauconite in Longtan formation, Nayong district,Guizhou province. It is found that glau conite forms mainly in tidally-influenced delta front facies and distributary channel inlower parts of tidally-influenced delta,Besides, the orignand facies-indicating significance are also discussed.
