The impact fracture resistance under lower energy and repeated impacting of cross rolled low chromium white cast iron grinding ball had been studied through the tests of drop ball impacting, and the fracture form was analyzed also.The results indicted that the better resistance to impact fracture for the test grinding balls could be obtained by making use of a given heat treatment with residual rolling temperature.
