现代租赁是一种能够将“融资”与“融物”合为一体的新型融资手段、投资方式和贸易方式。在目前我国经济还处于买方市场的条件下，租赁对于刺激消费和扩大内需都具有明显的促进作用。租赁立法滞后、缺乏健全的租赁市场体系、租赁专业人才的匮乏是我国现代租赁市场存在的主要问题。
