摘要
提出一种基于小波变换的图像压缩编码算法。即首先对图像进行小波分解 ,然后对高频子图像用改进后的LBG算法形成码书 ,进行VQ编码。算法充分利用了不同分辨率间各种子图像的相似性 ,仅对最高分辨率层进行码书地址索引 ,低频区域用DPCM编码 ,最低分辨率层用游程编码。
A still image code scheme based on WT is proposed.Firstly,the image is decomposed by discrete wavelet transform.Secondly,the improved LBG algorithm is used to get the codebook from the detailed subimages,and then these area is encoded by VQ method.The coding information of the highest resolution subimages is only used for decoding according to the characters of WT.
