通过对秦皇岛港丁西码头和己西码头分别采用方沉箱和圆沉箱结构建造码头岸壁的比较 ,说明采用圆沉箱建造码头岸壁 ,从设计、施工以及经济性均有很多优点 ,可以在重力式码头中推广应用。

Based on the comparison of bulkheads of Qinhuangdao Port D West Wharf and F West Wharf which adopted rectangular caissons and cylindrical caissons respectively, it is proved that cylindrical caissons possesses many advantages from design, construction and economicalness when applied for building wharf bulkhead and may be popularized in gravity type wharf.
