Analysis of the intrinsic characteristics of transportation

从时间与空间的延伸 (time- space distenciation)角度分析了交通运输的下述内禀特性 :空间对交通运输发展的约束性 ;交通供给与需求发展的不对称性 ;在基础设施中 ,交通运输可持续发展的特殊性 ;交通发展过程的一致性 ;现代交通运输工程的复杂性。在此基础上 ,对交通工程发展趋势进行了展望。

Based on a new modernity theory of sociology, the following intrinsic characteristics of transportation were discussed from the viewpoint of time-space distenciation: such as the limitation of space to the development of transportation, the unsymmetry between the development of supply and demand of transportation, the peculiarity of transportation's sustainable development among the infrastructures, the similarity in the course of transportation development, and the complexity of modern transportation. Finally, the tendency of transportation development was prospected.
