AP-1000应用于远程无线局域网的探索

Quest of AP-1000's Application in Long-distance Wireless Local Area Network

采用ORINOCOAP - 10 0 0为主要无线设备 ,在广东省清新县进行了实际应用试验。在相距数十公里的县政府与镇政府之间建立了远程无线局域网———清新公众信息网 ,并通过相距十公里的联通公司的数据机房与互联网建立了无线连接。在这一试验中 ,笔者发现并使用了AP - 10 0 0的一些特殊功能 ,这对无线局域网向远程、宽带的发展具有十分重要的意义。

Adopts ORINOCO AP 1000 as main wireless equipment to conduct the experiment in Qingxin County of Guangdong Province. Between the county government location and several town governments locations, at the distance about 30 Kilometers has been setup a long distance Wireless Local Area Network-Qingxin's public information Network. Also, it establishes wireless connection of this Network with Internet with the help of China Unicom date machine room, which is 10 kilometers away. In the experiment, some special characteristics of AP 1000 are discovered and used, this is very important for the development of Wireless Local Area Network in the field of long distance and wide belt.
