The Process and Trend of the Study of Business Ethics in Contemporary China

当代中国经济伦理学的发展可以分为三个时期:前学科时期(20世纪80年代初至90年代初);萌芽时期(90年代初期至中期);形成时期(90年代中期至2000年)。中国加入世界贸易组织,使当代中国经济伦理学获得了前所未有的发展契机。经济制度的伦理评价问题,实践以诚信为基础的经济伦理规范问题,企业经营管理人员的道德人格问题,企业的社会责任问题,消费伦理与中国的发展问题,雇员个人权利与义务的问题,将成为经济伦理学研究发展的重要生长点。

The process of the study of Business Ethics in contemporary China can be divided into three stages: the pre-discipline stage from the early eighties of the 20th century to the early nineties; the beginning stage from the early nineties to the middle nineties; and the shaping stage from the middle nineties to 2000. China's becoming a member of the World Trade Organization will be enabling Business Ethics in contemporary China to enjoy many unprecedented development opportunities. Such issues as the ethical evaluation of the economic system, the moral code of economic activities based on honest credit, moral personality of managers in enterprises, social responsibilities of enterprises, consumption ethics and China's development, and employees' rights and duties will certainly become important research points of Business Ethics, which shall bear rich fruit.
