The Ghuz (Arabia transcription Ghuzz) were a nomadic people who occupied the steppes in the north of the Aral Sea and the Caspian from 9th to 11th centuryes A.D. They are a special group of northern Turk tribes.Thesis refers to their residence and they were related to Oghuz.
