《茗柯词》及其对常州词论的实践意义

The Poetry of Mingke and Its Practical Significance for the Changzhou School of Poetry

作为常州词派的代表作之一 ,张惠言的《茗柯词》具有一定的溯源开境之作用。其所开的“新境”主要有二 :一是以“热肠郁思”之笔写春咏春 ,意高格高 ,充满积极进取的精神 ,翻出词家之旧窠 ,创出春词之新境 ;二是借托情寄意之物 ,开别有会心之新意象。但就总体而言 ,张氏创作所开新境影响不大 ,常州词派的创作理论之影响远远大于创作实践。

As one of the representative works of the Changzhou School of Ci (Poetry), Mingke Ci (The Poetry of Mingke) written by Zhang Huiyan, played an original and creative role in some sense. This is demonstrated in two aspects. First, Zhang expresses his feelings of the Spring with a style of enthusiastic mind clothed with gloomy sentiments, that is beyond former poets writing modes and attains originally a new level with its inspiring state and positive attitude. Second, Zhang creates a new way to convey his feelings by describing objects and scenes. Nonetheless, the creativity of Zhang's writings hadn't great influence on later writers and its influence was limited in theory rather than practice.
