摘要
新月派剧作家以提倡“国剧”,以艺术地反映社会人生为己任,善于运用成熟的戏剧语言和戏剧技巧对戏剧主题进行完满的诠释,避免了社会问题剧直露地宣扬社会意识的弊病,从而为中国现代戏剧注入了艺术的新质,并由此获得了独立的戏剧品格和艺术个性。
The Crescent playwrights initiated' National Theater Movement' and represented the life and society artistically. They were good at expressing their motifs with mature drama langua- ges and skills and avoided the Utilitarian malady of Social Problem Play. The Crescent drama gave new artistic marks to Chinese Modern Drama and acquired its distinguish quality as a drama school.
