论古书序跋在版本鉴定中的作用

The Relation between Prefaces and Postscripts to an Ancient Book and Appraisal of Its Edition

古书序跋中谈及版刻者颇多 ,在通常的情况下 ,版刻时间基本上同最后的一篇序或跋所署的时间一致 ,利用古书中的序跋来鉴定版本 ,应当是可靠的。若原书的序跋被书估作伪 ,或遇到翻刻本、重刻本时 ,把序跋作为版本的鉴别根据又另当别论。

Many ancient books referring to engraving in their preface and postscript. Under normal condition,the engraled time and time dating from the last preface or postscript to an ancient book are no difference on the whole. It is reliable that appraisal of version making use of the preface or postcript. It should be regarded as a different matter if the original preface or postscript was forged by booksellers,or,it is a reprint edition.
