贵州的贫困人口众多 ,地区分布广泛 ,返贫率高且时间快 ,原因是多方面的 ,但长期缺乏长增长极的支撑是一个非常重要的因素。科学发掘、培育长增长极对贵州贫困县区的脱贫致富、遏制生态的继续恶化、创造条件走可持续发展之路、推动产业结构的完善升级和经济社会的整体进步具有极其重要的作用。

In Guizhou, the number of poverty struck people is not small, and they are distributed widely. Many of them are re listed under the poverty line within a short period. Though various reasons can be found to account for such a phenomenon, the lack of long term steady increment is a crucial factor.
