摘要
In the Yinan dialect, the system of initial consonants is more complicated, especially in the five group initial consonants: " ?????? ". Their classification is so unusual and rare in modern dialect. Therefore, the present paper focuses longitudinally on a discussion of the origin of the five group initial consonants in the Middle Ages, and traversally on a comparison of them with those in the General Chinese Language. That apart, several distribution maps of the five groups of initial consonants in Yinan dialect are illustrated.
