The importantce of developing architectural model during architectural design was discussed. Advantages and disadvantages of traditional architectural models were analysed. The technology of computeraided establishing three-dimensional model was also introduced. What had been expounded in this paper was the superiority of the technology of computer-aided building architectural models.The advanced technology having been put into practiced in the process of architectural design, was illustrated by some samples.
