Two problems in the gradation determination of mineral materials in asphalt mixtures

在用图解法或计算法求解沥青混合料矿料组成时 ,虽经多次调整 ,合成级配也往往不能满足规范要求。在计算法中采用计算机求解时 ,结果也往往不能满意。文章从理论上对此进行了分析讨论 ,认为原材料级配不当和计算方法选择不当是造成此类问题的原因 ,并提出了相应的解决方法 ,即以组成确定来指导原材料的选择 ,选择具有较高数值稳定性的计算方法 ,并进行校验。

While using the graphic method or the computing method to determine the composition of mineral materials in asphalt mixtures, the final gradation is sometimes not in the region required by the specifications after many trials of adjustment, and it is possible to get unsatisfying results when the calculation is made with computer in the computing method. This paper discusses these two problems theoretically. It is shown that the main reasons lie in the unfitted gradation of raw materials and the wrong choice of the calculation methods. Corresponding suggestions to solve the problems are also given in the paper.
