In this paper, the mechanical properties of gravel pile in soft foundation are considered. The complex foundation bearing capacity and soft foundation treatment mechanism with reinforcement grid cage gravel pile are discussed. The treatment methods which has applied in expressway soft foundation engineering are analysed with examples in project.
