审美能力是人的良好素质中不可残缺的重要能力。培养和提高青少年学生对美的感受力、鉴赏力和创造力 ,是素质教育的一个重要方面。美育要美化人们的情感、趣味和精神境界 ,具有其他各育不可替代的独立作用 ,而决不仅仅是为其他各育服务的工具。进行审美教育重点是进行大量的具体感性的审美欣赏活动 ,然后把具体的审美体验提升到理性认识。
