摘要
光纤做传输介质具有频带宽、抗干扰能力强、信号衰减小等优点。但是用它来实现总线型本地网却有一定的难度,因为利用光纤元件不易于实现CSMA/CD协议所要求的冲突检测和信号在总线上的双向传输。 本文介绍了实现光纤总线网络的简单可行的方法,叙述了光纤总线网的结构、网络、网络接口原理以及接口的编程方法。
The optical fibre for transmission medium offers a number of advantages, such as greater transmission bandwidth capability, immunity to electrical interference and crosstalk, and lower signal attenuation. The implementation of optical fibre bus LAN with optical fibre technology has certain difficulties, for it is not easy to detect collision, and bidirectionally propagating signals on the bus, as required for CSMA/CD protocol with optical fibre components.This paper gives an account of a simple and practicable method to implement the optical fibre bus LAN. It also describes the structure of the optical fibre bus LAN, the network interface and the programming method for the interface.
