摘要
为了在异构分布式环境中 ,方便地进行作业管理和调度 ,提出了采用 CORBA代理机制管理异构集群系统的结构模型 ,并且详细讨论了实现代理的关键技术。讨论了如何选择代理机制 ,然后针对管理异构集群产生的问题 ,提出了三个对象代理 ,并讨论了代理的实现、数据格式转换和通讯协议设计等 ,有效地屏蔽了异构系统的差异 ,实现了透明管理。
A very limited number of software researchers in China have found that fairly highly heterogeneous cluster system brings certain advantages. But such system also brings a rather difficult management problem, because these machines often use different hardwares, different operating systems, or different communication protocols. After much research we decide on applying CORBA agent technique to manage heterogeneous cluster system. First we show the architectural structure of the four-machine cluster system in Fig.1. Then we mainly solve four problems: (1) selection of CORBA agent; (2) agent implementation, including authority, host and execution agent; (3) use of Unicode to implement data format conversion; (4) design of a four-tuple communication protocol. In fact, applying agent technique to heterogeneous cluster system hides efficiently the difference of networks and implements transparent management. Now our cluster system can support many popular operating systems, such as Windows NT, Windows 2000, HP-UX, EWS4800, Solaris and Linux.
