异构数据库的集成是数据库界的一个研究热点。本文通过对一个自行研制的基于CORBA的异构数据库集成查询系统的分析和探讨 ,展示了在异构数据库集成研究中引入CORBA技术的诸多好处 :不仅系统实现简单 ,而且大大提高了集成系统的可管理性、可伸缩性和可维护性。

Heterogeneous database is an important branch in database research.In this paper, through the introduction of a CORBA-based heterogeneous database integration system made by ourselves, the benefits of using CORBA in the integration of heterogeneous databases is shown: the integration system will be simple, retractile, maintainable and easy to manage.
