The cultivation of an individual's lifelong knowledge and competence and establishment of a learning society from which people benefit are the effective strategy of human capacity building. The distant education has now become the hot topic of human resource development with bright future. However, there are also some problems. In this article, the writer gives a calm consideration of this fresh thing and discusses its problems from viewpoints of people receiving education, educators and institutions running schools.
