Generally, grammar text-books do not involve whether noun words can be used as complements. But this article holds that noun words can be used as complements and this is not rare. Only there are some limits in sentences including noun words as complements. This kind of sentences complements often express condition or place and so on. Mostly verbs can be followed by noun complements.
