An introduction to the general geological condition of Yemen which indicates that Yemen possesses relatively rich oil and gas resources;oil industry in Yemen was late to begin but quick to develop.On the other hand,its exploration level of basins containing oil and gas is low but its exploration field is wide.The article suggests that in view of the opening oil policy to the outside world adopted by the Yemen Government,CNPC,SINOPEC and CNOOC should take an active attitude towards entering Yemen's oil exploration and developing markets.
