To Develop Ethnic Education and to Train More Minority Talents——In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of YUN

云南民族学院是中国共产党民族政策的产物。 5 0年来 ,民族学院为云南少数民族的团结、平等、繁荣作出了不可磨灭的贡献。在新的历史时期 ,要明确学校定位和培养目标 ,加强领导班子建设、学科建设和师资队伍建设 ,制订和完成学校“十五”发展计划 ,为发展民族教育 ,培养出大批的少数民族人才 ,做出新的更大的贡献。

The founding of Yunnan University of the Nationalities reveals CPC's ethnic policies. In the past 50 years, YUN has made indelible contributions to the unity, equality and prosperity of Yunnan minority nationalities. During the new historical period, YUN will continue to improve its leadership, disciplines and teacher-training programs and work out a good 'Tenth Five-Year Plan' in order to train more qualified minority students and make greater contributions to Yunnan ethnic education.
