A requirement for quantitative analysis is proposed by environmental test to determine trace elements in the environmental samples rapidly and accurately.This leads to the developments of many rapid analytical methods.As a match for those methods,the technology of microwave sample-preparing also gets a rapid development.This paper introduces the microwave digestion of environmental samples from such aspects as method-selectiong,online technology,chemometrics and reagent-selecting.
