A Study of "Cuan" and "Baiman" of "Xicuan

本文依据古籍文献及碑碣资料 ,对历史上南中大姓的主要代表爨氏家族的历史源流作了全新的考证 ,并对云南地方史和民族史中颇有争议的学术问题提出新的看法 ,有较高的学术参考价值。

Based on historical documents and tablets, this article gives a new textual study of the history and development of the Cuan family, the most influential family in Nanzhao in those days. It offers new ideas on some disputable academic questions concerning Yunnan history and some ethnic origins, and is of much academic value.
