摘要
“好”字的意义较多 ,过去一直认为本义是“美 ,”本文通过分析“好”字的结构 ,语源的探讨 ,以及它所包含的文化成份 ,认为“好”字的本义应该是“女能生育子。”
Hao' in Chinese has quite a few definitions and in the past scholars usually regarded 'beauty' as its original meaning. Through an analysis of its structure, origin and cultural connotations, the author concludes that its original meaning should be 'women able to reproduce.
