Present Status and Future of Esthetic Prosthetics

口腔修复学是用符台 生理要求的方法,利用人工材料修复口腔及颌面部各种缺损的学科。随着医学美学不断渗透进入口腔修复领域,口腔美容修复已成为新的研究热点,以满足病人更高的美观要求。文章简述了美学的一些基本原理及在美容修复中的应用,内容涵盖了牙体缺损、牙列缺损和颌面部缺损修复,涉及固定修复、可摘修复、种植修复及颌面部赝复等主要修复方式,探讨了口胜美容修复的现状,并对美容修复的远景作了展望。

Prosthodontics is the sciences that deal with the restoration of oral-maxillofacial defects and deformities with artificial materials in biological and physiological manners. The integration of medical esthetics with dentistry resulted in the establishment of esthetic dentistry to meet the ever increasing demands of the patients. Some of the esthetic principles and their uses in esthetic prosthodontics were briefly reviewed. FPD, RPD, implant dentistry and oral-maxillofacial prosthesis in the esthetic repairing of tooth defect, dentition defect and missing, oral-maxillofacial defects were covered. The future trends of esthetic prosthodontics were also discussed.
